1968 Ford Mustang 1 Owner Shelby GT500 428 Highland Green

This Shelby Mustang was highly optioned and painted Highland Green exterior along with the Deluxe Saddle Tan leather interior. The interior features factory AC, tilt steering, bucket leather seats, a center console with a Cobra-embossed armrest and woodgrain trim on the steering wheel, doors and across dash. It also features a roll bar and a fold down sport deck rear seat. All Shelbys feature a 140 mph speedometer and an 8,000 rpm tachometer. The originality of this Shelby is preserved, and it has not undergone any restoration, maintaining its authenticity. The car was repainted back to the factory Highland Green color in the early 2000s.Under the hood lies the goods-a 428 cu in Police-Interceptor V8 topped with an aluminum mid-rise intake along with a Holley carburetor with a Ram air system making the lightweight Shelby GT-500 one of the quickest Fords of the era.
