1950 Mercury Eight 71065 Miles Red Coupe 350ci 3 Speed Auto

1949. During that era, and beyond, the stylish 'Lead Sled' Merc Eight has always been popular with customizers. This '50 Mercury Eight Coupe has been fully restored with many custom and mechanical upgrades. It received a 2-stage coat of Bright Red (1998) accented with period-correct fender skirts, dual spotlights and steel wheels w/caps, trim rings and wide-whites. All of the chrome, and there is a lot of it, is in very good condition and the doors are fitted with 'poppers'. The interior has been nicely restored in cream vinyl. The front seat is power assisted and a handsome dash is equipped with full factory instrumentation and original radio. The headliner, door panels and carpeting are all in very good condition and a custom floor shift has been installed.
