We know you likely have never seen something like this before, because not only is it an exceptionally cool custom build, but also it starts with a rare edition. Chevrolet only built 12,756 Styleline station wagons in 1952, so you can just imagine how few have survived around 65 years (especially as solid and straight as this one). But more than a survivor, this car has received a restoration that took the exceptionally straight bodywork and invested in a mirror black finish. And that textured wood trim that's grabbing all you attention, it's painted on. Yes, it looks so real to all of us too (we had to look super close), so it took a true artist's hand to apply. But what makes it so great is that the care and maintenance is as easy as the rest of the sheetmetal. On a rare wagon like this, the brightwork is just as important. More than just having a shining grille and bumpers, this Chevy is complete right down to the line running within the rear fenders. But there's also a very upgraded custom feeling to this wagon. It's in everything from the sun visor, to the large staggered alloy wheels (17-inch front/18-inch rear) for a great stance.
The original idea of a station wagon was to ferry hotel passengers to and from the train station, so this one still has plenty of space to carry everyone thanks to three rows of seating. The tan leather on the seats appears quite correct and authentic, but just like the exterior, it's the wood that steals the show. Inside is actual lumber, and the flat side panels have a great appearance when joined by darker accent wood and bright handles.
