A long bed truck might get you thinking about work, however, this 1971 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super is a bit different. Sure, you can still haul loads with this V8 pickup, but the sharp two-tone and detailed A/C interior are there for pure classic nostalgia.
The factory correct medium blue and white two tone is a terrific factory color combination. It has been given an updated respray, but in lacquer paint, so there are some people who will see the classic finish and believe it's original. It really gives a classic like this an authentic feel, and that spirit is something you see throughout this pickup. The full-length side trim provides a nice dividing line for the two-tone all along the body, and it helps to announce this is an upper-level Cheyenne Super. Plus, the bumpers, bezels, grille, and Rally wheel trim all have the good shine of a quality classic.
The interior is a full blue presentation that has all your favorite classic pieces. It starts with the bench seat that has Chevy's iconic houndstooth cloth inserts. Plus, the door panels have the Cheyenne's western-style pattern in the door panels. And nothing says vintage premium like plenty of wood-like trim. This is even a factory air conditioning truck, and it's still blowing cold today. The steering wheel is the classic Chevy sports unit, and it gives you a clear view to the full gauge package.
Under the hood is proper Chevy power, and this 350 cubic-inch V8 is a year-correct block. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, it makes good power as it also gives a nice tune to the dual exhaust.
