The Wood is Ash and Maple with African Mahogany on the interior inserts. All Wood is believed to be all original or if replaced was done so with matching like materials.
The exterior wood grains and finish could not be more we’ll designed with the flow, fit and finish. Masterful automotive Art Piece.
Buick Fire Ball straight 8 cylinder engine is original engine and gearbox with three speed on the column. Accelerator starter runs works exactly as designed. Starts and drives perfectly down the road nice easy and quiet. This Buick has large drum brakes that are very effective at stopping. Nice quiet exhaust rumble accents this wagon perfectly.
Undercarriage is very clean and straight with new body bushings and rebuilt suspension. (See Pictures)
Interior is in magnificent condition recovered in period correct fabric and vinyl as originally made by American Seating Company. Steering Wheel is exceptional with no cracks or chips.
This car has been well cared for with regular maintaice and more importantly has been driven regularly.
This 47 Buick has been carefully stored indoors and is ready for driving or taking it to local car shows or Cruises. 3 inch white wall tires and original Buick hub caps give this wagon the perfect appearance.
The paint is in very nice condition with zero rust, zero paint bubbles. Overall the body is very straight and paint is very consistent in appearance. Dark Green paint has few minimal dings, scratches, imperfections and touch up spots.
The paint is 8.5 out of 10 very presentable. Has been converted to 12 volt electrical
