This car overall all is very original, I would say the paint is 90-95% original. It appears that the doors have been reshot at some point, along with the spoilers recently repainted. I would say the rest of the car is original paint, the car has no signs of ever being in an accident, and according to the previous owner it never was, and his mother owned the car before him. There is a small dent in the bottom of the rocker panel it can only be seen from under the car.
The car is totally rust free the under body still has the factory under coat on it no rust the rear tail panel is spottless . The car is numbers matching correct (Original Drivetrain). The interior is totally original and in very good condition dash is perfect no cracks, the bezel has not faded nor the gold steering wheel spokes. The headliner is starting to come loose around the t-tops. (See Pics) Overall the interior is excellent, it is a A/C car (BLOWS COLD) , and yes it does have the factory original radio. The paint still has a very nice shine to it, but is showing its age there is some checking on the roof and sail panel areas as well as the decals showing there age.
The body is perfectly straight! The engine area has had a light clean up and looks great. The motor was tuned up with new paint, gaskets, plugs, wires and cap; it runs great. The car has the original window sticker (not a reproduction) stating the car as a Special Edition with hurst hatches as well as the original build sheet stating the car as a y82 Special appearance package.
