1971 Pontiac Trans Am Rare 455 HO 4 Speed 8 Cyl

1971 Pontiac Trans AM 455 cu. in. H.O. ( high output ) four speed standard. The owner has the original motor ( WC code 455 ) that goes with the car, but when he restored this car, he noticed that two cyl walls had a few scratches in them, he was worried that that might cause a problem, so he set the engine aside, and searched for another 1971 WC 455 block, found one. so he bought it, and it now sits in the car with the factory highrise intake manifold ( # 483674 ), and with the rare factory headers for this car ( part number 478141LH and 9799721RH ). The block that was taken out of the car, as far as we know, is the original block - I don't know how to match the block to the car, but it is a WC block, and that corresponds to a 1971 445 HO block. Please see attached GM build sheet that shows all options on the car. - all options are found on the car except the rear defrost unit that mounts in the rear parcel shelf.
