1970 Hemicuda, original 383 4 speed triple black Cuda, now 426 dual quad hemi 5 speed. I have the original numbers matching 383 short block which will be included with this sale.
Engine is a 69 vintage 426 hemi, .030 over with 10 ½ to 1 compression forged pistons, 509-292 cam, balanced rotating assembly. Port matched heads, factory dual quad intake with reproduction AFB carbs. MSD 6AL ignition with Mopar Performance distributor. Big block K-member with Schumacher mounts. New clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing. New TKO 600 5 speed trans and driveshaft. B body Dana 60 4.10 ratio rear with sure-grip. TTI headers with 3 inch head and H pipe, Dynomax mufflers and 3 inch tail pipes with 3 inch inlet stainless tips.
All new components in front suspension with poly bushings. Frame connectors installed with NO modifications to floor pans. New hemi rear leaf springs and new shocks all around. New calipers, rotors, wheel cylinders, drums, master cylinder, booster, hard and rubber lines. New 3/8 fuel line with new 3/8 tank pickup/sending unit. Recored 26 inch radiator with new clutch fan and shroud. New wiper motor, alternator, voltage regulator, reproduction battery, and starter. Engine compartment fully detailed.
Rotessorie restored body, NO rust anywhere, fully painted undercarriage. Body is laser straight, panel fit and finish is excellent, with 2 stage paint that is outstanding. All stainless trim is polished, new rear bumper and bumper guards and wheel well trim. Factory front elastomeric bumper. Shaker setup is NOS with exception of bubble and hood. NOS drivers side mirror. 215-65-15 front radials on mopar 15 X 7 rallye wheels with 275-60-15 rear radials on 15 X 7 ½ custom backspace mopar rallyes. New trim rings, lug nuts, and restored centers.
New dash pad, headliner, sail panels, package shelf, carpet and seat covers. Rallye gages are fully restored and calibrated with quartz conversion clock. New heater core and motor, control cables, vent cables and restored heater controls. NOS turn signal switch and ignition switch. Steering column restored with restored rim-blo steering wheel. Even the key in ignition warning buzzer works! All new wiring thru-out car (new forward lamp harness, engine harness, dash wiring harness, rear lamp harness) Pistol grip shifter restored with 5 speed shift pattern, new boot and trim ring. Power window mechanisms and motors restored, all switches function as new. NOS outside and interior door handles. All locks function as new. Am radio in dash is non-operable, AM-FM 10 CD "Hidden Audio" system installed under rear seat and in trunk with RF remote control and hidden head unit in glove box.
