This 1966 Chevrolet Nova wagon would be cool if it were stock. But throw in a modern 5.3 liter V8, 4L60 automatic transmission, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering and A/C and you've got a one of a kind restomod! The body remains virtually stock except for a cowl hood, front spoiler, a shorty antenna, tinted windows and 17" Rev wheels. Those touches give this car a muscle car look and let everyone know it's not your typical grocery getter. The Corvette emblems on the fenders are a big tip that there is more power under the hood now than Chevy ever thought about in 1966! A mildly built LS 5.3-liter V8 engine runs to a 4L60E automatic transmission and then out back to a set of 3.38 gears making this a great highway cruiser. Other upgrades include a Larry's Electric harness, Holley oil pan, CPP exhaust manifolds running to true dual exhaust, and Champion aluminum radiator to keep the engine cool. The front end is a Mustang II from CPP with tubular upper and lower control arms, rack and pinion power steering and dropped spindles to give this Nova an aggressive stance. 4-wheel power disc brakes bring it to a stop in a hurry and look great behind those retro 5 spoke wheels. Inside has blue vinyl bucket seats, a custom center console, modern AM/FM/AUX radio with plenty of speakers and a small Rockford Fosgate sub in the back. A Helix chrome tilt steering column has been capped with a custom black steering wheel that is comfortable and looks very cool. Custom modern style Dakota Digital gauges tie everything together nicely with blue backlighting. Seat belts and a Vintage Air slimline A/C system finish off the interior to make it comfortable and safe for you and your passengers.
