1979 Ford Bronco XLT 4BBL Original Ranger
This is a “True” Freewheeling Bronco. This is an original black Ranger XLT with the coveted chromatic sun-downer graphics. It has 108,000 miles and never been lifted. It has factory sway bars front and rear and the quad shock option on front axle. It also has very rare 4X4 high, hi-lock and low, low-lock transfer option.
· 400 engine that has 150 psi static compression each cylinder excellent oil pressure
· Tilt steering
· Intermittent wipers
· Cruise control
· Leather wrapped steering wheel
· Dual exhaust
· Aluminum intake and new Holley 4BBL carb
The carpet needs to be dyed in places but is in excellent condition otherwise. The carpet on the tailgate is even in great shape with no grease stains! The motor runs awesome with no weird sounds or annoying vibrations.
I purchased this Bronco to keep about a year ago but, I made the decision it was too nice to do what I wanted to do with it.
I bought one with rust and a 4-speed to customize like I want so I decided to sell this one. This Bronco shows well and is an awesome driver. The paint is old and does have flaws and the chromatic graphics are cracked and not as vibrant as new. Please realize this this is a 40-year-old vehicle and there are imperfections.
I carried the Bronco to a specialty shop to have the top cleaned, sealed and repainted a year ago. They specialize in fiberglass parts and did an awesome job!
