1979 VW Super Beetle Cabriolet, 1600cc Fuel Injected,

The body on the car is straight as an arrow and the pan is totally solid and was originally a southern California Bug. The paint on the car is finished in an eye popping Mars Red on white scheme which looks very nice which is all new trim! I would describe the overall paint as 8/10 quality with a few expected flaws and all original jams and front compartment. The car is riding on nice 15" VW wheels and has really cool Michelin XZX radials.
The interior is also in like brand new shape all around courtesy of the interior refresh. The seats are all in very good condition and look perfect, which shows the quality of materials used in this car. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. The dash is in good shape and matches the exterior to really set the interior off. All gauges and controls function as they should. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. The bonnet is nicely carpeted with at and trunk bonnet trim and matching period correct spare tire.
Mechanically, this VW runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. A lot of time and money was spent under the hood of this little beetle. The motor is a fresh rebuild with less than 15,000 miles on it. It was definitely built to show and go! The clutch and transmission were also overhauled at the time of the engine build so they are reliable as well. I was told total cost of the engine build alone is well over $2000. The fuel injection really makes these bug as reliable as any other car and allows one to enjoy a cruise without any of the hassle of the carburetor.
