The blue paint really does have a fanatic look with its deep luster, and the high gloss radiates in sunshine to show off those softly rounded curves. Before the first drop of the paint went down, the body was prepped meticulously, resulting in a well-aligned appearance that includes tight panel gaps and doors that open and shut smoothly. The rounded silhouette and torpedo-like headlights already made this Chevy look sleek right from day one. But this custom turns it up a notch with details like the expertly deleted bumpers, shaved trim, and custom integrated taillights. The same classic style mixed with upgraded attitude is seen in the brightwork. You still get the vintage grille up front, but what people are really likely to point out is that big air scoop sticking out of the hood and just how deep those rear wheels go into the body.

With so much custom work on the exterior, it's no surprise there was plenty invested in the interior, too. It's a cool two-tone layout where you get a blue that coordinates with the exterior, and now it's paired with a tasteful gray. It's so detailed, you'll even appreciate the little things, like the shift boot and steering wheel wrap. There are comfortable upgrades like a pair of high-back bucket seats with modern bolstering, a custom center console, and AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers. But the lightning bolts on the doors remind you that this is a true power coupe. The Colorado Customs steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column, and that gives you a clear view to a full professional gauge package with AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite readouts.

Under the hood is a true beast. And because everyone will want a look at this motor, they made sure it's always ready to show off. So grab your sunglasses, because we doubt you'll find another area that can be polished. You'll appreciate the details, like the mirrored firewall, upgraded pulleys, and steel braided lines with AN fittings. But what you'll really love is all the substance behind the style. It starts with a 468 cubic-inch big block V8, and this is fed by dual four-barrel carburetors from the performance master Barry Grant. And in-between the two is a Weiand 871 blower to supercharge your horsepower into the stratosphere. There's even a nice set of Hooker headers to add power to package as well as add rumble to the Borla dual exhaust. This is serious power, and so it's good you have stout components like the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, a 9-inch rear, and big Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. There's also an upgraded Mustang II-style front end, ladder bar rear, power brakes, front discs, and power steering.
