This Camaro was Raced back in the '70s (NHRA SS/H) i have All Docs ,Pics ,History, Etc, but This Car was Never Cut, Tubbed or Altered! Only thing Changed was, it was Raced w/ 427ci engine,(now has correct 396/350 eng) , Different Paint Scheme,Roll Bar, 5 point Safety Belts, 4.56 Gear in Rear end, Cowl Hood. This car Still retains Original Sheet Metal (except for ZL2 "GM" Cowl Hood & Cowl Induction Air Cleaner was added in the '70s) , Original Interior ,Original Floors,Trunk pans, etc. In late 1990s the Camaro was mildly restored to it's Correct and Stock Condition it is today.High Quality Slick Paint Still Looks Great! A Very Correct 396/350hp engine was installed @ that time, also @ that time (according to last owner) the M-21 Muncie Trans was rebuilt by Camaro GURU "Jerry McNeish" and reinstalled (w/Orig Hurst Shifter), the Original 12-Bolt rear was rebuilt also and correct (BT code) 3.55 gear was installed. Factory Power Disc Brakes,Factory Power Steering, Correct Complete Chamber Exhaust System, Correct Rally Wheels,,Correct GoodYear PolyGlass Tires ,including the Spare is GoodYear PolyGlass w/ Jack,Jack stand, etc.
This camaro was built 01B = 2nd week January 1969, the date on front pad of 396 eng is T1125= Tonawanda plant November 25 1968 , w/casting # 3955272, which is very possible to be original engine, but no vin # on pad or if it is in the Rough Casting by the oil filter you cant read it. so i can't prove either way..
