Powering this little GTO is a 400 CID V8 that is believed to be the original 335 horsepower engine it rolled off the assembly line with. Transferring those horses to the 10-bolt rear end and 3:36 gears, is the original TH-400 3-speed automatic transmission that features the iconic His/Hers Hurst Dual Gate shifter. The His/Hers shifter gave the driver both the ease of ‘put it in drive and go’ and the ability to shift manually from first, second, and third gears when desired.
