It has won over 100 awards, been shown at some of the largest events in the country by invitation, and was the PPG Nationals display vehicle from winning best body and paint the year prior.
It won the prestigious SHOW PROMOTORS CHOICE award at the F-100 Nationals as well, which is quite an accomplishment.
The truck started with a round-table discussion amongst the industries best, sorting out details, parts and “who will do what” to get it to the finish line. Then, Eric Brockmeyer Design was tapped to do some incredible artist renderings of the truck so that everyone could “see” what it would become, even before a part was ordered! Incidentally, those renderings are included in the voluminous dossier of receipts, paperwork, and documentation on this build.
Chris Nash at Precision Rod & Customs in Sevierville, TN, constructed the frame for truck. It is based on the 48 rails, but has been completely reworked, boxed, stepped, and reinforced for the project.
A Scott’s Super-Slam Mustang II IFS system was installed, with custom upper and lower control arms, 2” dropped spindles, RIDE TECH SHOCKWAVES air springs, front sway bar, and a FORD rack & pinion steering rack with a ZOOPS power steering remote reservoir.
