1958 Ferrari 250GT Spyder Replica by Modena Ford V6 Supercharged Motor Ferris Car
This car was completed in 1987 from the last unassembled Modena kit. It features a Ford Thunderbird 3.8 liter supercharged V6 motor with automatic trans. It comes with a huge amount of original paperwork and documentation which is rarely seen with these Modenas

– Chassis #18 of a total production run of approx. 54
– Built in 1987 , last of 11 unassembled cars
– 2? X 3? box steel main frame with 3/4? box steel back bone
– 1974 Mustang II based suspension
– All suspension points are either poly bushings or Heim joints
– Carrera coil over shocks with Delrin Heim joints on all for corners
– Rear axle located via 4 bar and Panhard joints
– Engine – 1993 Thunderbird Supercoupe 3.8 Liter supercharged V6 with air to air intercooler
– Trans. – 1993 Thunderbird Supercoupe 4 speed AOD
– Rear axle – 1974 Mustang II 8?, 3.00 to 1 with traction lock
– Exhaust – 2.25? diameter main tubes wit 2.25? cross over, 2.25? Dynomax high flow cats, 2.25? Dynomax 3 chamber mufflers, 3? stainless steel/cast aluminum resonators. All joints use 2.25? band clamps
– Car has been well cared for and well sorted and has traveled 65,000 +/- miles (mostly highway) since being built.
Recent Work Done:
In March, 2018, the owner had the car “gone thru” and the following was done:
– Oil and filter change
– Check brakes, suspension, steering, engine and trans.
– Repair tail lights, parking lights, brake lights, signal lights
– Replace driver and passenger windows
