1964 Volkswagen T1 DoKa Bus/Vanagon Double Cab
It underwent a thorough and detailed restoration. It was one of my Dad’s retirement projects. It received an impressive list of Klassic Fab’s “funky green panels” which are the best in the business, near NOS quality :
- All 3 gates.
- Full cargo floor (both halves)
- Full front floor
- Inner and outer rockers both sides.
- All bed cross members
- All four bed floor pieces.
- All floor cross members.
- All four jack points and outriggers

It was painted on a rotisserie. The chassis is very clean, as the pictures depict. The goal for the project was a nice clean driver, not a show queen.
IRS conversion via a Wolfgang Int kit. Low KM IRS beetle trans installed.
1600 dual port. Low KM on full reseal. Good compression.
Drop spindles and disc brake kit.
Brand new rims and tire set.
Brakes are new at all four corners. All fresh cupro nickle brake lines. All brake soft hoses new. MC. Wheel cylinders, etc
Steering wheel is a Petri repo.
Fresh seat padding and Wolfsburg West seat covers. Front and rear.
Fresh birch ply door and ceiling panels.
