1963 International Harvester Scout 80 Trophy Truck
1963 International Harvester Scout 80 (similar to the later 800 but produced in much lower numbers and with the functioning safari fold down windshield which is something almost no other bronco K5 jeep land cruiser sand-rail defender etc. has) and was followed by a professional total race / prerunner build. This pro-touring restomod style trophy truck project is complete with a full fabricated and forged race suspension, 8 point internal chromoly cage, built aluminum ported 6.2L LS3 V8 (570hp+ ) with a GM400, race fans, full King 2.5 coilovers/bump stop systems (currently tuned around 18" but capable of 20"+ front/30"+ rear race travel), retrofit modern Z06 dash, and even a hand-laid carbon fiber hood/bezel. Truck has current California registration/tags/plates (renewal was just paid as of 10/17), less than 2500 miles on the build, is an incredibly capable machine that has never been race, and was built for unparalleled weekend fun on the dunes (which has ended up acquiring 99% of its mileage highway cruising).
The Scout currently has a very streetable set-up with a Borla exhaust more mild at low RPMS, total ride height around 6'5" (as not to worry about any common height, garage, etc. limitations), brand new full Polk flagship HD LED outdoor bluetooth/pandora/mp3 audio streaming system with both under seat and overhead concealed 8-way surround sound speakers).
