1965 Chevrolet Corvette CONVERTIBLE 4 speed
1965 Chevrolet Corvette CONVERTIBLE **new top** 4 SPEED
EXTERIOR:
This C2 Corvette has a very original, unmolested body that is holding up well. The paint is an older single stage paint job that has a fair amount of checking, but shows well and is all one color. There is evidence of body work in one small area under the driver front fender. Other than that, the body seems to be uncut and in its original state. There are some hairline cracks in some of the typical places. The headlights open and close and the wheels/caps and tires are all in great shape. The glass is clean and the windows crank up and down without any trouble. The side pipes aren’t original, but are in good condition.
INTERIOR:
The interior has a few years on it, but presents itself very well. The seat covers and door panels look great. The dash is crack free and the wood steering wheel has a couple of small cracks. The carpet is good as well, with no tears or stains.
MECHANICAL:
The date correct 327 and 4 speed transmission perform flawlessly and make for a very enjoyable driving experience. The manual brakes and steering work great and add to the fun. The car runs down the road well and is a blast to drive.
