1955 Ford Crown Victoria 272 V-8 Ford-O-Matic Transmission
Loaded with accessories and appeal. The Crown Victoria is loaded with trim including the basket handle trim on the roof. This one goes beyond with the outstanding colors, wire wheels that sparkle, a continental kit and dual spot lights.
EXTERIOR: Wow, I think it would be impossible not to notice this car driving by. It has so much style! Park it next to a new Ford to really appreciate it. The body is very nice, it's straight and the panels fit square. I didn't find any bubbles. The paint is very smooth and glossy. The chrome and trim are exceptional. Up front the bumpers, grill, hood bird and trim is bright and shiny. The abundance of stainless trim around the windows, across the roof and down the sides is straight and polished. The door handles, vent window frames, taillights and rear bumper are bright chrome. It is also dressed up with dual spotlights with mirrors, rocker moldings, stone shields, rear antenna and fender skirts. Not to mention the Continental kit hanging off the back. The wire wheels add even more bling and they are wrapped in white wall tires.
INTERIOR: As I'm sitting in the car looking around I think it's in excellent condition. The seats feel good, they've been completely reupholstered. There is a center armrest cushion in the back seat. The door panels were replaced. It has matching black and yellow visors, the white perforated headliner has been replaced. The metal trim has all been repainted. All the lenses, knobs, the round radio, heater controls look good. The carpet has been replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original 272 motor purrs. It has original valve covers and air cleaner with the proper decals. It also features power steering. The engine compartment is cleaned up and painted nicely. The battery is bolted down properly and has a disconnect switch.
