1969 Chevrolet Camaro base coupe 350 engine from GM Performance
For consideration is a 1969 Camaro, base coupe. This car underwent a frame of restoration.
Mechanicals:
A new 350 engine from GM Performance, base crate 5.7L with oil pain, water pump, spark plugs, HEI GM distributor was added. A new fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator and gauge was also added(Mr.Gasket).
Hoses were routed and clutter free to appropriate vacuum ports, and the car was timed 12+ with 32+ using vacuum advance.
TH350 ( 3 speed) transmission rebuilt in 2014, in May was drained, new JEGS filter replaced, gasket, and refill with Valvoline Sythetic. A new stainless Lokar Kick-Down cable was also routed to the carburetor. New vacuum lines to carburetor were also ran. The output shaft was also replaced.
Thé rear was drained,resealed, and refilled with Valvoline traditional 75w90 gear oil and GM Limited slip additive. It is a 10 bold posi-traction unit, and is spun with an aluminum driveshaft. Rear disc brakes are in very good condition.
Custom headers ( clearances for power steering Box), ceramic coated silver. JEGS spark plug wire looms, Optima Marine Grade blue top battery, and direct draw Sylvania Silver Star heading in crystal housing were added
Brake booster and heat protected flex bend steel brake lines with extension and proper fittings lead to 4 wheel disc brakes.
Delco 2 wire Torque thrust staggered aluminum wheels with very good BF Goodrich tires.
Delco 2 wire modern alternator. Summit high torque starter, and an anti-theft (deadman) hidden switch.
New power steering pump and high ratio (quick turns) steering box.
It has a true “X” pipe flowmaster exhaust from the headers back, over the axle, and dumped under the car. All stainless and professionally hung.
