1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet White survivor
1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet. This car is a survivor and has been stored since 1979. We recently pulled it out and got it running. The guy we got it from bought it in August of 1972 and drove it till 1979 when it was stored. We acquired it in 2007 and stored it until we recently pulled it out and got it running. The car starts up and runs and moves forward but does not have reverse and has a few coolant leaks. This car was a factory 4 speed car but we were told that it was converted to a automatic by Ford dealer back in the day. It has the correct 428 Cobra Jet C6 transmission with the "R" servo and cast iron tail shaft and correct C6 cross member. Has the original 428 Cobra Jet engine with date code of 8K16. Also has original radiator hoses and original radiator and fan shroud. Has 750 Holley Carburetor. Doesn't have the original 3.50 trac lok rear. The Interior is very nice and all original. The original seat covers are in good shape with no tears and the headliner is good. Has original am 8 track radio. All glass are good. The engine compartment is very nice with no rust. The front and rear frame rails and torque boxes are good. The floor pans are good with only one rust spot on the drivers front floor pan. The underneath of the trunk lid has rust and the taillight panel has been repaired at some time. The drivers trunk drop has a few rust holes.
