1975 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Super RARE JURGEN SPLIT Extremely rare
Extremely rare Volkswagen Split Window Jurgen Camper/Motorhome Bus. Manufactured by Volkswagen of South Africa! This is really rare to find one of these buses if you do let me know, I haven't seen any other splits for sale. The body is a 1961 supposedly from the plate/tag numbers and the camper is 1975.
It has numerous options including Safari front pop out windows, rear pop out windows, front disc brakes, full steering conversion with steering rack so the steering wheel turns very smoothly. A lot has been invested in this build. Get tons of attention. Full camping interior! This Bus is so rare it just belongs in a Museum. They made quite a few baywindows but split windows like this one is super rare!
This bus is in excellent condition for its year, and very comfortable & fun to drive. This Bus was restored at some point not to sure exactly when, but it was well done. The body is straight. All doors, trunk are all aligned like they should. Incredible amount of attention, and detail has been placed in this Bus. The engine is 2.0L with dual Solex carburetors mounted to a 4-speed transmission. A lot of detail has been spent on the engine compartment. All new lines and gas tank. This Bus will definitely get lots of attention at the shows & question at the cars and coffee meets. Runs really good,
The camper interior is well sophisticated! Fully custom interior that matches exterior. Comes with a double bed. Under the bed there is some storage for tools and spare tire. Bed sheets matches the curtains, and other accessories. It also has integrated a fridge, stove, basin, mini bathroom, sink, cupboards, and also various storage space for towels, clothes, and kitchen utilities. Other accessories include fire extinguisher, a very antique barometer. All upholstery was done brand new, seats and panels, headliner, etc. All new chrome miscellaneous pieces through out the interior. Safari Chrome windows. Original factory vintage steering wheel was redone. It also comes with an Awning for the exterior when you go camping, its a brown color awning.
