1968 Ford Mustang RESTO MOD 302 Hi PO aluminum heads 5 speed Vintage
Own a very cool looking 68 Mustang Coupe, a tribute to the Trans Am race cars of its time. Th engine is a 302 with a mild roller cam, aftermarket aluminum heads, T5 manual 5 speed, its feed by an aluminum intake with a 650 Holley. It has a set of headers and 2.5 dual exhaust with a moderate rumble. The car has the Shelby lowering mod to the control arms, its fitted with frame connectors, and the Shelby floor braces. The brakes, front 13" Cobra brake conversion, the rear is ford explorer 8.8 31 spline limited slip with a 3:73, also with disc brakes, utilizing the oem Ford explorer E-Brake set up. The wheels are American racing 17x8 front 18x10 rears which give the car a muscular look. The body was fully restored 3 years ago, the car is rock solid, they did a nice job, the paint was sanded and polished to a slick, flat finish. The interior is all new as well, from top to bottom. The gauges are new digital replicas, with cobalt blue lighting , all the gauges function properly. The AC is Vintage air under dash unit that fits the esthetics perfectly. It has a nice sound system with adequate amps, and correct components giving it a nice clear oem sound quality. You can have a blast cruising around in this car, it gets thumbs up everywhere! It's a very affordable car at its level.
