1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mk I V8 Toploader Classic Vintage Collector Shelby
Here's a first-gen legend that's been given a frame-off restoration, and there's less than 50 miles on the full build! So, if you're a true collector and enthusiast, take a long look at this 1966 Sunbeam Tiger, because an example this nice is truly an endangered species.

Blessed by Carroll Shelby, this first-gen Sunbeam Tiger is a car that started the legend. It came with true sleeper looks that looked much like its Alpine brother, which is what makes these cars so great. It's arguably one of the best British roadster designs with the deeply diving hood, sleek profile, and a hint of a tailfin at the rear. In fact, those cues make it truly destined to be an Anglo-American! You can see it best on this restored example where the great fit of the body panels is the ideal canvas for the upgraded paint. We love the look of this metallic gray with silver stripes. We're told the color was borrowed from Porsche, but it feels like this Tiger was inspired by another Shelby variant: the Eleanor Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds (2000). There are even Halibrand style wheels that instantly remind you of an A/C Cobra.

Underneath the newer black folding roof is the restored black leather interior. We have over $22k in build receipts, and the interior reminds you that the investment was worth every penny. The door panels, carpeting, trunk, and rear storage all have that crisp feeling that comes from money well spent. It has a clean and complete look, right down to the classic burled walnut of the dash. And it's thoughtfully done with just a hint of flair, like the Tiger script on the bucket seats. This was built to be a terrific driver, and so your right hand goes on the classic Ford stick shift, and your left one will love the grip of the Moto-Lita sports steering wheel. And as a proper European classic, you have a full set of Jaeger gauges.
