This Ford was a late production model built at the Dallas, TX plant on March 12,1956. It was owned by a collector in the mid-west for many years before my parents acquired it. The original 292 Y-Block V8 runs great. At some point, someone substituted the teapot type carburetor for the 2 barrel carburetor it has now. It starts and runs very well, idles smooth, and makes good power. The transmission shifts and operates well. It has working gauges and lights. The car runs and starts with just a touch of a key, and with the PS and PB, it is easy to drive.
