1965 Ford Factory Five Racing Spyder GT number 4 of 39
This car is a 65 Factory Five Racing Spyder GT. It is number 4 of 39 to my knowledge kits to be sold by Factory Five which was a modified design of the 65 FFR coupe which I believe Dave Smith designed.Engine:- Ford fuel-injected 5. 0L V8 bored and stroked to 347 cubic inches -- 10. 5:1 compression ratio -- Trick Flow Twisted Wedge aluminum heads -- Anderson N-91 high-rev camshaft -- Edelbrock Victor Jr. carb intake modified for EFI -- Mass-Flo EFI fuel injection system w/ machined aluminum four barrel throttle body -- Jet-Hot ceramic-coated 4-into-2 headers and side pipesDriveline:- Tremec 3550 five-speed transmission -- Pro 5. 0 short shifter -- Ram HD clutch -- Kevlar scattershield/blanket (not currently installed but will include)- Ford 8. 8" posi-trac rear end -- Superior 28-spline hardened axles -- Rebuilt posi w/ extra clutch packBrakes and Suspension:- 3-link rear suspension w/ panhard bar- Proshock coilover system on all four corners- Wilwood Dynalite four-piston front big brake kit- Mustang Cobra rear disc brakes- Custom suspension setupOther Goodies:- Paint by StreetRodPainter aka Ken's Custom in Yuba City.
