1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Cobra Tribute 289 V8 Automatic
BODY:
Paint is two stage base with several coats of clear that has been cut and polished to a high shine. Front and rear bumpers have been color matched to the paint on the car. The color is Pepper Gray Metallic with Ford Shadow Black Lemans stripes. Brand new Shelby exterior kit installed including: G.T.350 rocker stripe kit, fiberglass hood and side scoops, G.T.350 billet tail panel emblem, Aluminum G.T.350 fuel cap emblem, Cobra fender emblems, black bullet mirrors. Additional new parts are the windshield, grille moldings and rear tail light lenses. Wheels are American Racing Torq Thrust II matte black 15x7 aluminum alloys. Tires are brand new Yokohama 215 60 15s, tread is excellent. Undercarriage has been undercoated and has a replaced passengers rear floor pan and a patched drivers rear floor pan. Remaining exterior trim parts are original and in good shape. All exterior lighting, turn signals and brake lights all function properly.
ENGINE/TRANS:
The engine is original 289 cubic inch V8. Total mileage on engine is unknown. Engine has a brand new reproduction Autolite 2100 two barrel carburetor, recent tune up including Motorcraft points, condensor and distrubutor cap. New 8mm ProSpark plug wires and Autolite spark plugs. New chrome engine dress up kit, new Carter fuel pump, new Valuecraft water pump, new Drake oil and temp units. Recent oil change and coolant flush. Exhaust is cast iron manifolds running into brand new 2 1/4 inch dual pipes with Flowmonster Super 10 series mufflers and turn-downs. Car has a very nice crisp rumble. Transmission is the original factory C4 three speed automatic transmission. Shifts great thru all gears, no issues whatsoever.
INTERIOR:
The interior has nice standard black seat upholstery, new woodgrain steering wheel, new carpet, new deluxe center console, new door panels, new arm rest assemblies, new dash pad, new headliner, new kick panels, new seat belt kit, new rear shelf tray, new windshield wiper switch, new headlamp switch, new starter switch with tumbler. Vintage cassette deck installed but not currently hooked up. Horn, windshield wipers, interior lighting, heater and gauges all function. All windows roll up and down properly. Factory non A/C car.
BRAKES/SUSPENSION:
Brakes are manual, no power assist with drums front and rear. Parking brake is in working order. Front suspension is all original in decent shape. Good used Gabriel shocks/struts installed front and rear. Manual steering car, no power assist. Brand new fuel tank and sending unit installed. Trunk is clean with OE plaid style trunk mat and spare tire with cover.
