BODY:
Paint is two stage base with several coats of clear that has been cut and polished to a high shine. The color is Ford Shadow black with Hertz Gold Lemans stripes. Brand new Shelby exterior kit installed including: Front R model racing apron, G.T.350 fiberglass hood, G.T.350 fiberglass side scoops and a rear fiberglass racing bumper. Additional brand new parts installed are: Billet aluminum Pony fuel cap emblem, Pony fender emblems, door handles, black bullet sport mirrors, grille moldings, rear window moldings and rear tail light lenses. Remaining exterior trim parts are original and in good shape. Wheels are Ford Performance Bullitt 17x8 aluminum alloys. Tires are Diamondback 225 45 17s with excellent tread. Undercarriage is clean no rust or significant damage. All exterior lighting, turn signals and brake lights all function properly.
ENGINE/TRANS:
The engine is a 5.0 liter 302 cubic inch V8 and runs well, does not overheat. Exact mileage on engine is unknown. Replacement and aftermarket parts include: Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold with Edelbrock Performer 600 CFM carburetor, Ford Duraspark electronic ignition system, PowerMaster mini starter, Milodon 7 quart oil pan, new 8mm ProSpark plug wires and Autolite spark plugs, Champion 4 row aluminum radiator, Cobra finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner dress up kit, remanufactured water pump and performance flex fan. Exhaust is full length headers running into 2 1/4 inch dual pipes with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and turn-downs at the rear axle. Car has a nice deep rumble. Transmission is a rebuilt C4 three speed automatic transmission with high capacity aluminum oil pan. Shifts great thru all gears, no issues whatsoever.
INTERIOR:
The interior has been redone with replacement parts including: New standard black seat upholstery front and rear, new carpet, new door panels, new headliner, new kick panels, new seat belt kit, new rear shelf tray, aftermarket white face gauges, new glove box insert and new headlamp switch. The dash pad and radio bezel was deleted at some point by a previous owner (not the greatest job). Horn, windshield wipers, interior lighting, heater and gauges all function. Door windows roll up and down properly. Quarter windows will roll down, but are very stiff. This Mustang does not have air conditioning, heater only.
BRAKES/SUSPENSION:
This Mustang has been lowered 1 inch all the way around for performance and aesthetics. Brakes are manual disc up front and factory drum in the rear. Parking brake is in working order. Front suspension has been replaced upper and lower control arms with strut rod and new sway bar bushings. Good shocks/struts front and rear. Manual steering car, no power assist. Replacement fuel tank and sending unit installed. Trunk is clean with OE plaid style trunk mat and spare tire with cover.
