1956 CHEVROLET 3100 BIG WINDOW
This 1956 Chevrolet 3100 pickup, painted a stunning Charcoal Gray with a ground-up, all-custom build. It’s powered by a built Chevrolet 454 engine with a Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection system, coated headers, This 3100 stays cool with a custom aluminum radiator cooled with an electric fan. This color matched big block is dressed with Billet Specialties serpentine belt and polished pulleys. The engine is mated to a 700R4- 4-speed automatic transmission with a Locar shifter mounted on the floor. The driveline features a new balanced driveshaft, Ford 9-inch posi-trac rear end The frame rides on the UDS Air Ride Technologies system. This 3100 has power steering and the stopping power is provided by front power disc brakes with the master cylinder mounted to frame It also features a smoothed out firewall and a relocated battery box. The bodywork has hundreds of hours of metal fabrication and body work. All this attention to detail leaves an extraordinarily smooth, straight body lines and gaps with fitment as a top priority. The build included replacing firewall and floor. New oak planks were installed in the bed with all new stainless strips. The bed has 2 ½ “ tubbed inner rear fenders and is finished with no stake pockets and a reversed latched tailgate along with color matched bumpers. The interior has a finished dash that features Classic Instruments cluster and has been finished to the detail with a glide bench seat covered in gray with fabric insets that match the custom door panels and a custom headliner insert. Dynamat sound-dampening was installed throughout, and it features a Single Din stereo with built in kick panel speakers. The interior also includes an Ididit tilt column, 15-inch Forever Sharp steering wheel, all-new tinted glass and rubber. This custom pickup rides on the new 20-inch American Racing Rally wheels and new whitewall tires. The truck was built for car shows or daily driver and is a head turner everywhere it goes.
