1966 Chevrolet Nova SUPER SPORT RESTOMOD OUTSTANDING
OUTSTANDING true 118 code 1966 Chevrolet Nova SUPER SPORT.
This one has had a quality FULL FRAME-OFF restoration with modifications making the Nova “Better than New”!
The power Plant on the Nova is a rebuilt and balanced 350 CU IN Chevrolet that was bored 60 over making it a 362 CU IN, with Sportsman II heads, roller rockers, Street Fire Ignition, Competition Cam, Edelbrock Intake Manifold, 750 Holley Carburetor w/ electric choke, and armor coated headers. The transmission on the Nova is a 350 Turbo-Hydramatic with a B&M Shift kit and Mega Shifter. Getting the power to the ground comes VIA an Auburn 10 bolt rear-end. Stopping this Pro-Mod is done efficiently with the upgraded 4-wheel disc brakes.
The exterior of the Nova is outstanding from the color choice to all of the bright work including the aluminum trim and bumpers. The body panels are straight and the fitment is very good. The paint itself is Show Quality SMOOTH! This restoration was completed several years ago and we did notice minor blemishes in the paint when looking close. Complementing the exterior of the Nova is a Fresh Set of 15” Chrome Plated Ridler 650 Series Wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GTII tires.
The interior on the Nova is in excellent condition with a mostly stock appearance except for the gauge cluster monitoring the engine performance and the B&M shifter. The bucket seats look GREAT and are very comfortable. The carpet looks like new. Check out the stock appearing aftermarket AM-FM radio with auxiliary input!
Underneath the Nova you will find the same finish as the top side. With the Pro-Mod build came the continuance of body color underneath. Check out the accent NEON lighting in the last photo! Again, the attention on this build is fantastic!
