1970 Chevrolet C-10 383 Stroker Smooth Shifting 700r4
The truck underwent a full frame off restoration about 10 years ago. During this restoration the factory 350 was replaced with a 383 stroker and the original 350 turbo transmission was replaced with a smooth shifting 700r4. The drive train has about 7500 miles on it since complete and still pulls strong with no leaks, noises or hesitation. During the restoration the truck was converted to 5 lug 5X5 bolt pattern front and rear. The brakes were also replaced with a power disc/drum setup, they stop as they should with no issues the peddle feels great not spongy or to hard. While the truck was apart the rear end and drum brakes on the back were also rebuilt and all new brake lines were added.
The truck is finished in GM 501 light yellow and pure white two tone and the front was converted from the 1970 grill to the cleaner (just my opinion) 71-72 grill. The paint shows well and is a solid 5 footer. The inside of the bed is coated with color matched bedliner it could be better but its functional and clean. The bumpers are clean and free of pits as is the rest of the brightwork on the truck. All of the lights have been updated with LED's and work as they should. When the truck was restored a painless wiring harness was installed so no broken or chewed wires to hunt down just stick the key in and go.
