1968 Pontiac Catalina Convertible powerful 400CI V8 Automatic transmission
Beautiful 1968 Pontiac Catalina Convertible 400CI V8! It is equipped with the powerful 400CI V8 and Automatic transmission that is believed to be original to the car. It is turn key, runs and accelerates great. It runs quiet with no smoking, strange noises and no overheating issues. It is a great cruiser and the transmission shifts excellent. The car handles the road great and rides like a dream down the road. The brakes are newer and pull a little left when hitting them after sitting. It has newer wheels and tires as well. The body is very straight and solid, not a bondo bucket. It has a nice repaint about 4 years ago in beautiful blue metallic that shines like a mirror. There is some small chips chips hardly noticeable from being driven and enjoyed but overall this car is ready to show and be proud of. The convertible top is newer and looks great with no rips or fades, also has the glass back window (manual) It has a nice convertible boot that is not shown in pictures, also looks great. The trim is in nice condition and bumpers appear to be older or still original and show a little age when close up. The glass is all in great condition. Body lines are very straight as well. It is always complimented and people love this car. The interior is very nice and comfortable. The seats have no rips, dash has no cracks and looks great. Carpet looks newer and also well kept. Door panels also redone and look nice. This is a highly optioned car with factory A/C, power windows, power seat, power brakes, power steering, etc. The engine compartment is nice and stock. Trunk is very solid and has original spare tire. Underside looks all original and great. A/C is not tested and may need a recharge but everything is there and looks to operate appropriate. This is a beautiful classic convertible ready for summer fun.
