1973 Chevrolet Camaro 6.0L LS2 V8 6 Speed Manual full restoration
White 1973 Chevrolet Camaro 6.0L LS2 V8 6 Speed Manual
1973 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod. This split bumper beauty has undergone a full restoration and has had a few upgrades installed while they were in there. Starting with the suspension, up front this has BMR upper A arms, a BMR front sway bar, and KYB shocks. In the rear we see Belltech leaf springs and KYB shocks. Bringing everything together and adding stiffness to the chassis is a set of subframe connectors. Helping this car stop is a set of Corvette disc brakes in the front and rear. The suspension and brake upgrades make this car handle very well. Its not too stiff but provides the right amount of stability in the corners. Under the hood of this beast is a Chevrolet LS2 with approximately 27,000 miles on it. The engine sounds very healthy with the help of some Hooker headers and the car made 383hp at the rear wheels (dyno sheet available). The engine is ran off a reprogrammed factory ECU, and a custom tank with a Tanks Inc pump. Mated to the engine is a T56 Magnum 6 speed manual transmission. The rear end is a 4.10 geared posi traction unit that helps get the power to the road. This combination ensures quick acceleration while still maintaining a reasonable RPM when at highway speeds. All in all this is one bad 73 Camaro that is ready for a new owner.
