This Merc was in his possession for over 50 years. The '52 Mercury models benefited from an extensive redesign effort that introduced an entirely new body profile, curved window glass and all new grille/brightwork. The Monterey became its own unique model and was offered in a variety of body styles. A convertible model was added, but less than 5,300 were produced in '52 - this is a rare Merc. This Monterey convertible was partially restored by the Carpenter team back to its original glory. The exterior was professionally re-sprayed Mercury Vassar Yellow and is in very good condition.
