1970 Ford Torino Cobra 429 J Code Fastback
1970 Ford Torino Cobra 429 J Code. The car has been nicely restored using Ford parts. The body is very nice as is the paint which was a color change. Some very minor orange peel in the black paint on hood. The chrome and glass is very nice with no scratches. All rubber trim was redone when the car was reassembled from being painted. Floors look great. Almost everything has been redone on the car. Frontend, shocks, bushing, brakes, hoses and belts were replaced. The exhaust, brake lines and fuel lines, fuel tank, sending unit were replaced. Interior is very nicely done with no rips or cracks. All gauges and lights work. The 429 engine is a D1ve-8015-A2B, Fred Jones replacement block with tag in place. Has DOOE-R Cobra Jet heads. Original intake, carb and exhaust manifolds. All factory air conditioner parts are in place but not working at the moment. Nice rear louvers. The C-6 transmission and rear end is original. Factory power steering that works great. New Magnum 500 wheels, center caps and BF Goodrich tires. 235/60/15's on the rear and 215/65/15's on front. I have the build sheet that shows the Torino was a factory J Code 429 with air condition, bucket seats and factory column shift
