1948 Ford F1 Pickup Hot Rod Street Rod Custom 2223 Miles
1948 Ford F1 Pickup Street Rod. Power comes from a rebuilt, but stock 302 Ford V-8 backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission and 9” differential. Total miles since the truck was been completed is less than 2300 in 12 years. Briefly, the ’48 started as a California based frame-off build with a rust-free body and then made its way east in 2016. Current owner added many upgrades and improvements which include coil over shocks, flames, a March pulley setup with power R&P steering and detailing to the engine compartment. All of the specifics are listed below, but some of the highlights include power brakes, Vintage Air A/C & heat, leather upholstery, and professional pinstriping by Real Ralph. The F1 is a pleasure to drive, multiple show winner, and everything works as it should including the A/C. The only areas of imperfection are shown in photos. The one on the roof is from the original build when the headliner fasteners popped. SPECIFICS: Engine & Transmission: 302 cu. in. Ford V-8, stock short block w/hydraulic cam Edelbrock carburetor & intake manifold treated with Enduroshine.
