This 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser is a restored vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.
This FJ40 has a peppy Chevy 350 small block with mild cam that provides a great rhythm through the dual side pipes and plenty of power. It is driven through a Ranger overdrive torque splitter and the stock 4-speed transmission and transfer case. This driveline makes it great for both low speed off-roading and cruising down the freeway comfortably. 4-wheel drive and the factory locking hubs work flawlessly. It has Skyjacker 2.5” lift front leaf springs and Pro Comp 2.5” lift soft ride rear springs. The front bumper features a high lift jack and Champion winch, though they haven’t been used as the vehicle hasn’t been off-roaded. It has 5 matching vintage Turbine wheels wrapped in 31x10.50R15 Toyo Open Country A/T 2s. The underside and interior are bedlined. Inside it has Mastercraft suspension seats on sliders for a comfortable ride. The bikini top on it is in great condition. It comes with the canvas half doors in the photos, canvas full doors, and a soft top. The under-seat fuel tank has been replaced with a fuel cell behind the rear axle that has a skid plate to protect it.
