1967 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport 350 Camaro built December 1966
1967 Rally Sport / Super Sport 350 Camaro built December 1966
It appears today as it did on the showroom floor in 1967. This is an extremely nice and well-optioned car: • N40 power steering • J52 power disc brakes • N34 wood-grained steering wheel • U17 gauge package • U15 speed-minder According to the firewall trim tag : 732 bright blue deluxe interior Z custom bucket seats without headrests C ermine white lower body 2 black vinyl top W tinted windshield X power windows L fold-down rear seat M Powerglide transmission G center console S rear antenna R rear speaker S RPO Z23 interior bright trim L RPO Z22 Rally Sport package F remote rearview mirror P Super Sport 350 B bumper guards Y deluxe seat belts The engine is the born-with VIN-stamped block, and the axle is the original December-dated 12-bolt for the car. The transmission is the correct 67 Powerglide, but the pan has been replaced so the date isn’t verified. All of the remaining components are technically correct and properly date-coded for this car. The car is loaded with hard-to-find original and NOS parts, including the (non-functioning) McNeish-restored smog system, L48 air cleaner, walnut steering wheel, DG rally wheels, rally sport hideaway assembly, blue dash pad, factory-color windlace, headliner and sail panels, bumper jack, trunk mat, T3 lights, etc. The exhaust is by Gardner. I can provide a listing of parts and dates upon request. The trunk spoiler, AM/FM radio, and the (working) U57 8-track are not factory-original to the car. I will include the original AM radio, console lid, and Camaro-emblemed trunk lid with the sale. The car underwent a meticulous front-clip restoration about 13 years ago and has been driven about 500-600 miles since. It's not a trailer queen, but it isn’t the proverbial “20-footer” either.
