The squared-off roofline of this Impala is a bit different, and Chevy fans know this is something very special. 1968 was the first year for the Impala Custom Coupe. This gave the Impala the same roofline as the top-dog Caprice. It gives this coupe some added prestige to its full-sized line. And speaking of the body lines, this Impala really knows how to show them off. Good sheet metal fit shows off the outstretched front fenders, smooth trunk, and the sporty lines that seem to all meet in the large doors. You'll occasionally sport upgrades to make this a better cruiser. For example, the 18-inch alloys mean better tires. But overall, this one keeps a vintage attitude. That's why they took the time to give this a nice respray of the factory-correct Grecian Green later in life, the form-hugging bumpers have an attractive originality, and there are even cool details, like possibly the original dealer tag on the trunk.
