1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Nostalgic drag car
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2 is an original. The vehicle runs great.
1967 Corvette Convertible. Nostalgic drag car with vintage painted livery.
This was originally a fully optioned 1967 Corvette convertible with an automatic transmission, power windows and the rare air condition (AC) option. The original tank sticker is still on the car. Originally green in color, it was painted red in the early 80s at the request of a new sponsor at the time...Champion Spark Plugs. Additional race/performance upgrades included a 620 hp small block Chevy (13:1 compression), ATI transmission with trans brake, indestructible spooled rear end and roll cage. Note that the car is NOT tubbed. Researching "Virgina Gentlemen Corvette" on the internet (google) provides some fascinating pictures and stories that help solidify the history and reputation of this unique piece of Corvette and racing history.
The car would be more "streetable" with different tires, exhaust and a radiator fan. Removing the roll bar and adding stock seats would also provide accessibility for passengers.
