1947 Buick Special Manual Rust free interior completely redone
This was an older restoration when we bought it years ago. Rust free.
Since that time we have had the interior completely redone which included a new headliner, new carpets, new door panels, new windlace and trim, newly recovered front and rear seats and armrests etc. We had the brakes and 4 tires all replaced as well as tune up and maintenance items replaced and new battery installed. We re-chromed the front bumper at Tri-City Plating. An electric fuel pump was added as well.The car starts right up and runs smoothly, idles well and drives smoothly. The only thing we personally don't like is the standard shift transmission. Where we live, it takes the fun out of driving it to cars/coffee events and cruises. It works well, but the older we get, with all the stop signs and traffic lights where we are, we prefer an automatic transmission and that is the only reason we are selling it.This is a great ' driver ' quality car that still shows well as is, or you can street rod it or bring it up to the next show car level.
