1968 Chevrolet Nova custom build restoration frame off 2600 Miles
This car could easily be a daily driver. The intent was to build an all-around street/strip/track car that could do double-duty as daily transportation. Edelbrock even used their engineer/tech to install and dial in the Edelbrock fuel injection system on video. Major manufactures such as Detroit speed, Dart, Edelbrock, Nitto, Wavetrak, Vintage wheel works, Nitto, Moser, Hooker, CPP, Flowmaster, Billet Specialties, PerformaBuilt, Art Morrison, Corbeau, Eastwood Paint, Auto Meter, and Painless Performance all contributed to the build. The car, with its fuel injected Dart SHP 400 produced 523 hp at 6,200 rpm and 523 lb-ft at 4,400 rpm and with overdrive, the Nova now purrs along at 70 mph at just 1,900 rpm. The car also has a brand new, in the box, Vintage air conditioning system ready to be installed. There is so much to tell about this cars that I have cut segments from the 26 issues in an attempt to articulate the story. I would be comfortable driving this car anywhere. It handles like its on rails.
