1956 Ford F-100 The Second Gen Ford F-100 model was only offered from '53 to '56. Today, it has a following. This classic 1956 F-100 Custom Cab has been with its current owner for over 22 years and has benefited from a full restoration (2015) with serious mechanical upgrades. The exterior received a 2-stage respray of White (2012 Dodge color) and it is in very good condition. Chrome is excellent and a beautiful cherry wood floor w/stainless trim has been installed in the bed. The roomy interior is also in good condition. Power assisted (6-way) split bench seats have been carefully reupholstered in rolled/pleated white vinyl w/Ford logos. There is a nice seat console, custom spoke wheel on a tilt column and a complete set of VDO gauges in a custom dash. Horsepower comes from a Jasper 351ci Windsor motor that was built by the folks at Jack Roush Racing. It is equipped with an Edelbrock Torker intake, Edelbrock 4V carb and serious street cam. Exhaust is routed through tube headers and cooling is provided by a heavy-duty radiator w/electric fan. The transmission is a Ford 4-speed/OD automatic and a Ford 9" differential houses street gearing.
