1972 Chevy Malibu SS Tribute in stunning Cranberry Red with Black stripes.
A fantastic SS tribute car that has the look and makes even discerning collectors look twice! This tribute has a 1970 402ci Chevy with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, 12 bolt rearend. The interior was redone during the restoration to an SS tribute and it is in fantastic shape, shows extremely minor use and needs nothing. You could not build this car today for what we are asking! Exterior - The body work and paint on this car is far beyond average even for its age, was painted in the early 90's. Cranberry Red has a deep shine as shown in pictures along with the black stripes. The body panels are straight and fit well, all body panel gaps are factory or better. All glass in the car is in nice shape, no flaws or blemishes. Chrome on bumpers is nice, not perfect but driver quality or better. The underneath of the car was cleaned and sprayed black, nothing too special but makes a fine appearance on a rack. Interior - As mentioned previously the interior was redone during the time the car was converted to an SS tribute. Bucket seats, doors panels, instrument cluster, console was all redone at this time. The interior is in excellent shape and needs nothing. The only item that does not work as it should in the interior is the AM radio. Running & Driving - The 402 starts right up, sounds good, does not smoke or leak. Car runs excellent, needs nothing mechanically. Turbo 400 shifts nicely. Car has front disk brakes, rear drum and stops as it should. Car has like new Goodyear Eagle ST tires and SS wheels that really look good. To recap, this SS tribute has the look and runs and drives excellent. It does not need anything to be driven and enjoyed immediately.
