1976 Volkswagen Beetle Classic Convertible Manual Laguna Blue
The longest running and most manufactured car of a single platform ever made, the Volkswagen Beetle made its first debut in the 1930s, with the first models arriving in America in 1949. More than 21.5 million Beetles were produced during this time, making it the fourth most produced vehicle ever. Beetles have always maintained their status as the most recognizable and iconic cars of all time. In 80-years of production, very little changed aesthetically about the vehicle until the New Beetle's introduction in 1997.This 1976 Beetle was the recipient of a comprehensive restoration and maintained much of its life as a part of a large private collection in a museum environment. This is evident in how the car shows pristine from front to back. Once we acquired this Beetle, since it had been in a museum environment, we immediately had the engine broken down and resealed, installed a new clutch, applied new tires to the car and replaced the front and rear bumpers. The result is a car that shows like new and is ready to drive anywhere. On the outside, the Laguna Blue paint shows extremely well and is offset by the car's light grey convertible top and matching light gray interior. Powered by a 1600cc fuel-injected motor tied to a 3-speed manual transmission, this car begs you to hop in, drop the top and take it for a spin. Demand for highly restored Beetles is growing and this car provides the chance to acquire one you can enjoy, show and take advantage of the model's value appreciation.
