1946 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Coupe Streetrod 50616 Miles
This 1946 Chevrolet Coupe has a ton of custom elements that love to give you extra.
The extra sleek exterior, the extra comfy interior, and the extra power small block all come together to create a cool cruiser. This is a classic steel-bodied car, and you can tell it's a respected classic by the way the doors shut solid, and how the drip rails and door jambs are clean. But this is more than just vintage. The pink paint is certainly not factory and it instantly announces this is a full custom. This is an older application, but it continues to have a radiant gloss that gets this one attention. And it's good that we like the color because the bumpers, bezels, grille, trim, door handles, and upgraded sport mirrors all match for a comprehensive style. And with all the brightwork painted, this one lets the upgraded polished torque thrust style wheels really stand out. But the most distinctive piece is the fuchsia, yellow, and blue stripe package painted on the sides. It makes for the right mix of ZZ Top meets Radwood. Inside is a nice mix of vintage style and all the right upgrades. For example, the seats have a classic look and are now covered with plush velour. The tan coordinates nicely with the door panels, carpet, headliner, and even trunk for a uniform look. Plus, there are thoughtful classic details like a working clock and dome light. The tinted windows and a Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette stereo mean a better cruising experience. And it's also made to be a better all-around driver with the banjo-style sports steering wheel, a tilt column, and upgraded auxiliary readouts. As a true street machine, you have upgraded V8 power under the hood. This 350 cubic-inch motor has a four-barrel carburetor, HEI distributor, and powder-coated headers. It gives this classic the right kind of cruising power, and the dual exhaust has the right subtle sweet sound of the dual exhaust. And it is built for easy enjoyment with desirable features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs. We always like a Chevy like this. In fact, there's also something extra special about owning a '46 because this was one of the first cars to get us back on the road after WWII. So to see it preserved and upgraded to still have it cruising makes for an irresistible mix of history and classic car fun.
