1978 International Harvester Scout II 14000 Miles
1978 International Harvester Scout II was originally painted in matte white finish under previous ownership. The Gray Orange decals were added along with their other restoration work. Features a removable black hardtop with sliding windows, a receiver hitch, and brush guard. Additional work included installing and finishing the GRC steel bumpers and engine grille in Metal Flake Gunmetal Gray, installing the Vision X Halo headlights, LED taillights, Rigid Industries LED driving/fog lights, and wheel arch flares.Mickey Thompson 17” Deegan 38 wheels are also finished in matching Metal Flake Gunmetal Gray and wear New 33”x12.5” BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires. Braking is handled by power assisted front discs and rear drums. The front axle is equipped with manual locking hubs and has been modified with Velocity Restorations Reverse Shackles to improve ride and handling.Additional equipment includes interior LED lighting, vent windows, a center console with cup holders, a custom roll cage finished in matching Metal Flake Gunmetal Gray. A custom Velocity Restorations wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 100mpg speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, alternator charge, and fuel level. The speedometer shows 14K miles of 300 have been added by current owner. The instrument gauge cluster decal has been changed to white for easier visibility. The entire interior floor has been sprayed with a black protective material for durability.The 304ci V8 is equipped with a Holley 2300 carburetor, custom exhaust system, and an electronic ignition system. Power is sent to the rear and all four wheels through a smooth shifting three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
