1963 Ford F 100 very clean soft restoration 103428 Miles
This 1963 Ford F-100 is in very clean soft restoration (not full frame off restoration) including...New drum brake system, including all new shoes, springs/hardware, wheel cylinders, brake hoses and Stainless Brake lines/fittings.New Aluminum Radiator and hoses, original radiator still available with truck.All new glass weather stripping, felts, and gaskets including new lightly tinted rear glass. All windows roll up and down clean and side vent windows function as should.All lights, including headlights, brake, parking, tail, turn, and interior dome light function as intended.Heater functions and all temperature and venting selections including two speed fan (floor or dash defrost) function as designed by Ford in 1963. In warmer climate driving, all interior venting features (drivers side floor dash vent knob and passenger side floor vent door) function as designed by Ford, including both side vent windows.Fuel tank and all associated hardware/lines replaced with factory styled tank behind seat.All dash gauges function and are accurate per passing road side speed radar digital signs and engine temps.Electric wipers function as designed by Ford.Headliner is the perforated design provided by Ford as a custom order option in 1963. The interior roof and rear interior panels have also all been reinstalled with sound dampening insulation at time of Restoration work by previous owner.Horn functions as designed.Original Ford bottle cap design hub caps. All four tires on the ground are Uniroyal radial tires, with the spare in the bed being a bias ply period specific for appearance (and also totally capable of necessary road side spare tire installation if needed).The steering of the truck is as simple going down the road as anything built today. But you'll always keep in mind it's still a truck without power steering, which is part of the fun in driving her and getting in and out of parking spots. You'll always feel good once you've entered or left a parking lot, thinking wow!! It's a nice workout and skill most don't have the knowledge of, in being able to get her centered in the parking space on the first try.
