1950 Ford Tudor Sedan Custom classic look 91496 Miles
The 1950 Ford Custom Tudor sedan has a very classic look, but as you dig just a little deeper, you discover well-placed upgrades that make it quite a nice cruiser. This includes an A/C interior and power upgrades to the classic Flathead V8. It makes for an iconic Ford you can really enjoy. This has a terrific classic cruiser look. The maroon paint is a timelessly attractive color, and it combines with the upper-level Custom trim for a premium sense of style. It's not trying to be too fancy to drive, but instead, it is just being a cool-looking cruiser. That's why it also comes with some period-correct upgrades like the windshield sunshade, amber driving lights, and blue-dot tail lights. The interior has a nice look with white joining the exterior-matching maroon. There's a hint of cool tuck and roll kind of style, but the overall impression is just an easy driver. You have the classic Ford steering wheel and large speedometer, and the stoplight peeper is a nice vintage touch on the dash. But the auxiliary readouts are a sign this was meant to be driven in modern times. Part of this true cruiser attitude means integrating the right upgrades. This includes a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with cassette and stereo speakers. And the under-dash air conditioning unit compactly delivers the kind of cold air that makes this a great summer classic. Under the hood is Ford's famous flathead V8. You can instantly tell this one is far from stock, but we like how they choose to upgrade this 239 cubic-inch unit. It has vintage-style power upgrades like the Offenhauser intake, Edelbrock heads, and Fenton headers on the dual exhaust. But this one also doesn't let vintage style get in the way of modern driving usefulness. That's why you have a 12-volt system that helps run the electric fan on the aluminum radiator, a Mallory distributor, and Holley four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke. It makes for a strong-running classic. And it's an overall solid cruiser with everything from newer bushings to modern tires disguised as classic whitewalls. Plus, the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission lets you control it all with a vintage feel, and there's even electric overdrive for easy driving near or far.
